One Pan Venison


5 Venison chops, 1/2" thick
2-3 medium potatoes, quartered
4 carrots, sliced
4 small onions
4-5 stalks celery, sliced
1 tablespoon parsley
salt & pepper to taste

Brown meat in small amount of butter. Add vegetables, sprinkle with salt, pepper and parsley. Add enough water to almost cover. Cover and simmer about 40 minutes, checking occasionally, so it does not dry.
